KU student arrested after alleged rape in campus residence hall

LAWRENCE, Kan. - A 19-year-old woman told police a man raped her Tuesday afternoon in a University of Kansas residence hall.
The woman , a KU student, said the attack occurred inside the Gertrude Sellards Pearson Residence Hall at 500 West 11th Street.
Police questioned and arrested a 19-year-old man who also is a student at the university. He is an acquaintance of the woman, according to KU Police.
No word on any charges.
The woman was treated at a hospital.
